I like people. I can't help myself but to continually work on learning more and more ways to try and help people become or stay healthy. It is one of my main purposes in this life and I can't imagine doing anything else. That is why I get so excited about information like what I am about to share with you. Sometimes helping can be so simple and easy. I just need to be given the chance!
Many of you out there know by now that cancer rates are skyrocketing. Amongst all the types, one of the most rapidly growing of all is breast cancer. Even though millions of dollars are being spent to "win the war on cancer" things continue to worsen.
Why is that?
There are probably many reasons but one of them is undoubtedly our increasingly toxic world. The sad thing is it is literally impossible to stop and even harder to try and avoid all of these chemicals. While reducing your exposure to toxins by eating organic food, reducing your use of household toxin sources, etc can help a lot, perhaps the most important thing you can do to avoid breast cancer is identify key contributing factors in your body and whether or not you are currently, right now, living day to day with certain protective factors at work for you, or not.
How do you do that? Well there are many ways, but the two most important, very effective, well researched ways to assess your risk factors for breast cancer are by testing your "Estrogen Quotient" and your "2/16 ratio", then doing some simple treatments to improve these markers if necessary. The article below goes into great detail about these tests and even how to treat it if needed.
As a physician whose main interests always lie in working with my patients to prevent rather than treat disease whenever possible, and also working to try and identify the cause behind disease and treat that instead of just the disease symptoms, you might guess that I find information and tests like these to be invaluable!
I urge every woman reading this, whether or not you are pre or post menopausal, or have a family history of breast cancer or not, to contact me so you can have this evaluation done. It is hard for me to convey the importance of doing so. Also if there are any other women in your life you think should have this evaluation done as well, even if they do not live in Portland, they can also very easily work with me and still have this test run, so please have them contact me as well.
Here is the article. I hope to hear from you: http://tahomaclinicblog.com/estriol-hot-flashes/
